Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable products either synthetically made or natural hyaluronic acid and are used to help restore volume, soften lines and enhance facial features. The fillers which are naturally made have been ethically approved by religious committees (e.g. Jewish, Muslim). They are injected in the form of a clear gel.

The main question you want to know, will you end up with lips like car bumpers? NO! We aim to administer a natural enhanced look.

What happens during the consultation?
Dermal fillers will take approximately 30-45 minutes to administer. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will discuss your thoughts and assess your face to decide on the best treatment plan for you. The practitioner will determine the injection site to achieve the best result for you. A topical anaesthetic (usually a cream) is generally applied before treatment. The practitioner will then administer the Dermal Fillers through several injections. You can sometimes feel the initial injection but subsequent injections should be less uncomfortable as most dermal fillers contain lidocaine (local anaesthetic). Visible effects are immediate. You will be provided with written aftercare following your dermal fillers and a follow up appointment booked for 2 weeks after the treatment.
